This Spring Break, we packed our mountain bikes onto the back of our rolling home-on-wheels and headed for Sedona, Arizona—known for its breathtaking red rock formations as well as a fabulous array of single-track bicycle trails. We took the “long way” there, stopping at three incredible places in California: Yosemite National Park with its granite cliffs and tall waterfalls, King’s Canyon National Park with its giant sequoia trees, and Joshua Tree National Park with its Dr. Suess-like trees, mounds of rocks, and vast stretches of cactus. Near Sedona, we also visited two Native American ruins that are now national monuments—Montezuma’s Castle and Tuzigoot.
